Kitchen Manager
Wage: Salary $63,000 - $70,000.00
As Kitchen Manager, you’ll support the Executive Chef by leading daily kitchen operations in a high-volume, family-style resort restaurant. You’ll be hands-on, team-focused, and committed to delivering consistent, high-quality food while maintaining strong sanitation and operational standards.
What You’ll Do:
- Oversee daily kitchen operations and service execution
- Lead, train, and coach kitchen associates
- Ensure food quality, consistency, and scratch-cooking standards
- Maintain food safety, sanitation, and inventory controls
- Communicate closely with front-of-house and resort leadership
- Foster a respectful, inclusive, and positive kitchen culture
What We’re Looking For:
- 2+ years of kitchen leadership or management experience
- Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- ServSafe and/or Alaska Food Worker Card (or ability to obtain)
- Calm, confident leadership in a fast-paced environment
- Passion for teamwork, mentorship, and great food
Kitchen Support Roles (Line Cooks, Prep Cooks, Dish Support)
Wage Range: $14 - $27
Our kitchen support team is essential to everything we do. You’ll work closely with leadership and fellow team members to keep service running smoothly and guests happy.
What You’ll Do:
- Assist with food prep, cooking, and service
- Follow standardized recipes and preparation methods
- Maintain clean, organized, and sanitary workstations
- Support inventory rotation, labeling, and storage
- Jump in where needed to support the team
What We’re Looking For:
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Ability to work on your feet in a fast-paced kitchen
- Team-oriented mindset and willingness to learn
- Previous kitchen experience helpful, but not required
